Organizations/Registries National Registries and Clubs There are currently several national registries in which you may register your Miniature Australian Shepherd and/or North American Miniature Australian Shepherd. Certain competition clubs require that your dog be registered with a specific registry and/or the competition club itself. Our dogs are registered with NSDA, the original Australian Shepherd registry, and MASCA, which is merging with NAMACUSA. Your new pup is eligible for these organizations as well as several other organizations, depending on what competitions you may want to enter..	If you already own a toy or mini, you may be familiar with some of these sites and names.. and if you aren't, you are sure to enjoy perusing these great websites about our wonderful dogs! If you are a potential buyer, before you consider a mini or toy aussie, please take time to do your homework. Read about the breed and get a feel for what the dogs are supposed to look like. In recent months we have seen some ads for "mini aussies" that don't come close to the standard. While they may be bargain priced, and they may be wonderful companion dogs, they are not going to be toy or miniature australian shepherds. So do your homework. In addition to Ruth Vanderhoof's line, Nancy is building on the Roscosa and Valhalla lines. Our Gibson is out of the Las Rocosa line – and in fact, Nancy owns Gibson’s mother – La Rocosa Meg. She is very knowledgeable about the breed as well as the history of the breed. She has a great line of dogs and very informative website. I look to her for inspiration as a blue ribbon breeder - And I hope to get one of her pups someday!
